HAND-CRAFTED IXCACAO STATUE
This one of a kind statue is the representation of the Mayan Goddess of Chocolate (ixCacao), ceremonially hand-crafted in Bali by a local artist. A ceremony is performed for each statue, giving thanks to the sacred spirit in each.
IxCacao was worshipped as a fertility goddess with different names and different roles in the ancient cultures of MesoAmerica.
